Is Kim Kardashian Trying To Buy Her Own Sex Tape? To 'completely remove it from the market'...

A mystery buyer is trying to buy the rights for Kim Kardashian's popular sex tape in an attempt to "completely remove it from the market", it has been reported.

The tape, which stars the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star and her former boyfriend Ray-J, is being distributed through Vivid Entertainment after Kardashian signed a million dollar deal but now a mystery buyer is trying to make an offer for the sole ownership, reports TMZ.

The buyer hired a lawyer in Tennessee to get in touch with the Vivid boss Steve Hirsch and the letter stated: "I was approached by a private party who has asked us about looking into the possibility of acquiring all rights of the Vivid, 'Kim Kardashian Sex Tape.'

It also continued: "The party we represent does not intend to distribute or broadcast the 'tape,' but hopes to completely remove it from the market."

In the deal, the mystery buy wants to take all of the unused footage that weren't included in the DVD as well.

While the lawyer does not state that they are representing Kim Kardashian, the lawyer does state: "We would purchase any other footage you may have control of that involves Ms. Kardashian."

But the letter does not mention the other star of the X-rated footage, Ray-J. During her wedding weekend, the sex tape saw a surge in buyers - reaching two million hits!
